Bio

Shaun Ginter has 30+ years of experience and is an expert in urgent care and consumer driven health.

In Shaun's role as an XCO Partner, he brings deep expertise and proven experience drawn from his extensive, nationwide leadership in the retail/ urgent care business. Shaun is currently head of the Board of Directors of the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA). In addition, since 2013 he has been the President and CEO of Urgent Care Centers of New England/ CareWell Urgent Care, with more than a dozen centers in the Northeast and, as well, the largest network of urgent care centers in Massachusetts. Before joining CareWell, Shaun was the COO of Solantic Walk-In Urgent Care (now CareSpot | MedPost) in Florida, one of the nation's largest providers of urgent care, wellness and occupational health services. While at Solantic, Shaun grew the company from 11 to 37 urgent care clinics. Additionally, Shaun has held executive positions as the CEO of both Goverline and Blue Medical Supply, Inc. and was Regional VP for Rite Aid Drug stores.

As an XCO expert partner, in 2017 Shaun presented at the Forum for Healthcare Strategists Conference in Orlando, Florida on the value of urgent care in today's healthcare environment. Also, in 2020 he was an expert partner supporting development of an Enterprise Ambulatory Strategy for Inspira Health, based in New Jersey.

In addition to his UCAOA post, Shaun also currently holds board positions with the North East Regional Urgent Care Association (NERUCA), Urgent Care Assurance Company, and Urgent Care Centers of New England. He is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE), National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Association of Corporate Growth.

In 2017, Shaun joined the Strategy Advantage team as an XCO Partner. In this role, he is available as a 1:1 executive-to-executive partner for leaders changing healthcare.
